I was invited to speak at the American Mother’s Conference yesterday and was honored to do so. It was a delightfully unambiguous cross section of the general population. Attractive women, cheerful, ready to listen to stories of motherhood and raising families. A celebration of love. In the end it was clear that motherhood is about spreading love as far and wide as possible. What I took away is that women are powerful, capable of surviving whatever comes at them and when motherhood enters the picture, most often the power and ability to survive are done with grace and a happy heart. Thank you American Mothers for having me.
I did not intend for my Wellness Camp to be exclusively for women–it took on a life of its own and evolved in to a Women’s wellness program. I’ve often wondered why, but I could not be happier about it. I have learned so much about all that comes along with being a woman. I’ve been fortunate to work with amazing women of strength, power, beauty, kindness. Women who radiate love in its purest form.
Yesterday reminded me how lucky I am. Thank you to all of the beautiful women I work with now, you are a treasure. And to those I have not yet met–I look forward to it!
